Recently, I redid my website with new BLACK & ORANGE branding. Here is the new logo to accompany the new look. I started out with Helvetica Black (one of my fav's) and transformed it into this — giving it more of a spaced-out 70's feel while keeping the classic base of helvetica black present. Check it out on thefalconhaslanded.com.

Getting started on the design and development for Minnesota Golf Media's new website. Check back in soon for updates and be sure to show Minnesota Golf Media some love.
As you can see the site has gone through a big transformation over the last week. I just wasn't happy with the overall look and feel of the site once it was online, so I made a few adjustments that make it flow better on screen and visually more appealing. I still have to tweek the text and links, but overall it is close to being finished. John is still working on more content (mainly articles on buying and selling a home), so he will be sending me those as he gets them done. He also needs to come up with a Final "Company Name" which means I have to update the logo. Again, to check out the test site click here.

My shopping list consisted of:
Gray Spraypaint, Sandable Primer, Super Sculpey Clay, Masking Tape, Black Acryllic Paint, Soft Brushes, Clear Coat and Plastic Glue. So I took a peek online at prices at a few spots, but DickBlick.com had everything I needed at a pretty good price. After checking out the prices online I took a trip to the store and found the prices to be a lot higher than online. For example Super Sculpey Clay is about $8 on their website, but was $14 in the store... uhhh... Well that's shipping ($6) plus a few bucks. I looked at a few other things and it was the same - much cheaper on their website. So I went back to the net and ordered up everything I needed... except primer. The only primer I saw on the site was colored Rusty Brown or Black, so I ran to Home Depot and bought white Sandable Primer for $3.
The total on everything else I got at Dickblick.com was $45 (including tax and shipping). So about $50 for all the supplies (the MUNNY itself was $25).
I'll post when the supplies arrive. I had to pick the slowest delivery method (5-7 days), anything faster is a $30 Hazardous Material fee from Fed-Ex. I'm not in that big of a hurry... Stay tuned for THE FED-EX DELIVERY...
